Son got a good one this weekend! 3.2# Tough fishing in a couple spots, but got a few.
Would love to get him together with you sometime Bassquatch. He's turning into a bucketmouth purist!

Hey, say when! I love getting the youth jazzed up about bass fishing! That's a great picture. Doing it from a kayak makes it up close and personal. I caught an 8.5 in my Jon Boat a couple years ago and it was a whole lotta fun when the fish moved the boat! I couldn't imagine the same fish in a kayak...would go for a bit of a ride I imagine? Keep it up :tup:

He pulled that one in really fast, I was amazed it was a nice one, looked like a dink the way it swam to him and jumped in the kayak!
Wife and I were 40 yards away. I caught 3 one pound class and lost several, one nice one. She caught one one pound class and lost over a dozen, including a couple dingers, on a topwater frog. (She was quite grumpy!) Evening bite at Eloika. Going to have to go back there more often! (It's 25 minutes from my fishing camp on Hwy 211. You'd be welcome to camp there anytime in exchange for some tutelage!)
Gonna be a little tricky to arrange something, but I want to try...
