I picked up a Ruger American Predator in 6mm Creedmoor just to give the chambering a try. It was a pleasure to shoot, very forgiving to load for and shot pretty much everything accurately with the acception of the new Sierra 110gr Mk.
I liked the chambering enough to send a action off and have a custom chambered up in 6mm Creedmoor. Back when I had first shot the Predator with the Hornady 108gr ELD-M's and relized how well the combo performed. I had told a local shop that I wanted the first Ruger Precision rifle they could get their hands on chambered in 6mm Creedmoor. I had forgotten about that until today when I received a call letting me know my 6mm Creedmoor Ruger Precision would be here this coming week. I'm looking forward to running it through the paces. Especially since Hornady just released the 103gr ELD-X bullet along with a offering in a factory load.
I have only shot the Hornady brass with the 6 CM. I'm going to neck down 6.5 CM Lapua brass and give it a go in the Ruger Precision.
