Why would 4 guys fish at the entrance to the fish ladder at 8 pm tonight?

Have you not seen the penalties handed down to game violators lately? :chuckle:

The 2 cars drove around no trespassing signs and were fishing less  then 1000 ft below the dam in the fish ladder for the new hatchery.

Last I checked, you can fish up to 400' below a dam.

Correct.  Contract pikeminnow anglers.

They were above the no fishing sign along the river. They didn't drive through the open gates for construction at the fish hatchery. They took the long way around in a really nice geo tracker.

Then maybe not.  However, I do know the contract pikeminnow crew can't fish setlines from the Methow downstream due to all the woody debris running out, and have been angling below the dam including within the hatchery outfall.

Sounds fishy indeed, there is no such thing as a nice Geo Tracker.
