Hi folks-
We'll be camping at the state park in a few weekends and wanted to bring the bass rods. Never fished the lake before. I'll be pulling the trailer so no boat this trip. Or should I try Fish Lake instead? Is there decent bank fishing spots there? Thanks in advance!

Fish lake has decent Dock fishing. I am not sure how much shoreline is accessible to fisherman though.
Every time I tried fishing Wenatchee, the wind made it miserable, LOL

Can't say I have heard of bass in either one. Fish Lake is mainly a trout and perch lake. If you're a bass guy, go throw plugs for the brown trout there.
-
Thanks for the info folks, guess I'll bring the trout gear instead!
-
Trout gear for sure. There is big bass in Fish Lk. Bigger ones in Lk. WENACBEE. GOOD LUCK.

If you fish Lake Wenatchee, go up the back side of the lake to Glacier View campground, there are places you can fish from shore there, but be sure to release all the Dolly Varden/Bull trout, the lake is full of them but they aren't legal to keep or even remove from the water.

Thank for the replies! I'll be sure to check out glacier view cg while I'm there!

And of course remember that Lake Wenatchee is selective gear, so no treble hooks, no barbs, no bait.
-
If I remember right you need your Columbia River endorsement to fish there as well

Better chance of finding Bigfoot at Glacier View after 15 Rainiers than finding a bass in Lk Wen

There are pike minnow in Lake Wenatchee, which kind of surprised me

Boatloads! The river is packed with them as well.
