Title: Two doe permits drawn
Post by: Elk4me on June 16, 2017, 06:56:02 PM
I got drawn for two doe tags.  :o One was for Disabled Hunter and one for Over 65.  Two different areas. Pearrygin and Chiliwist. I hunt both sides of SR 20 Loop Loop Pass highway so it will work out very well.  :IBCOOL: I will most likely spend most of my time on the north side, Pearrygin area. I drew a doe tag in 2014 for Pearrygin Over 65 and wound up getting a nice 3 point muley within 40 minutes of legal time. Looking forward to this season. :chuckle:

Yup, only one deer but I have option hunting either unit. We camp on the Chiliwist side of SR 20 and spend a majority of the time hunting Pearrygin.

Yeah, he actually only has one tag. We draw permits, not tags.

Changed the title to Permits instead of Tags.  :chuckle:

As weird as it sounds the same thing happened to my daughter. I put her in for the skokomish youth tag and the skokomish modern for tag and she drew both with just only 1 point for either one. The upside is the youth tag starts a few days before modern season so she's got the place to herself. Downside is she burned up points in 2 categories, wasn't thinking she would've drawn both.

My wife had 4 points for the same for tag and didn't draw anything lol :bash:
