Title: Ballistics Research - Bullet Penetration Testing

As I was doing research for reloading a specific bullet, I came across this study that I hadn't seen before and thought I'd share with the forum.  I apologize if this has been shared before or is old news, but I found it a fascinating read.

It's a bit of a long read, but being a ballistics junky I enjoyed it.  Comparing different bullets in a variety of calibers and contrasting to prior research for penetration depth, measured width of recovered bullet, and retained weight at various impact velocities.  General finding: heavier bullet and slower impact velocities equal deeper penetration for majority of results.  Unless it's a Barnes bullet.  I've been a long time Nosler fan, but will have to look more closely at the Barnes.  Holy smokes.  Swift A-Frames and North Forks were also interesting.

There's also a sectional density analysis towards the bottom of the report that was interesting.
