My boy decided he wants to catch a catfish. Anybody know a lake in Eastern wa where we could catch a few from shore?

I have done alright at banks with just a night crawler at night. Not any big numbers but good sized 6 to 8 pounds. hope that helps.

The Yakima River, towards the mouth is going good right now.

Also, the mouth of the Walla Walla at Wallula Junction is hot.

Best of luck - PM with questions.

Thanks for the replies. Would like to camp close to the fishing.

Many moons ago, we used to go to Fio Rito pond by E-Burg and catch Bullhead all night long.  Not a channel cat, but they have whiskers and you could camp right where you fish.
