He fished bobber-jig 80% of the time. Decided to throw some hard tackle and booyah. Hope this helps. I know of a few more hitting it this weekend. Good luck

Post by: DeerHarvester on March 08, 2009, 08:07:45 AM: Fished it twice this week. Still seems to be slow. Caught a hatchery on Thursday and a native yesterday. I have not been fishing all day, just a couple hours here and there. Pulled a real nice (31"+) hatchery out of the Okanogan last week as well.
Over all its been slow IMO.

Post by: DeerHarvester on March 08, 2009, 04:17:02 PM: The water is perfect, the fish are red as to be expected. The meat seems to still be firm. I'm BBQ one right now from the Okanogan and will give a report. Also I have a couple pics I will post later.

Post by: twisp_river_slayer on March 09, 2009, 11:33:52 AM: These two fish are off the Methow this fall. I went home last weekend and caught 6 fish but i spent the day fishing for em. It has really slowed down and the fish are getting pretty dark. I'll get pictures of them up on here as soon as i can.

TRS, ya better be careful with them fishies. Some gameys might call the adipose fin in that first picture "intact". ;)

I had a game warden tell me last weekend i couldnt even use my net becuase it was notted and not rubber. So many rules :bash:
