Title: Fishing mayfield lake
Post by: jstone on July 02, 2017, 07:43:19 PM
We are camping at Mayfield lake this coming weekend. Could I get some info on the fishing? We wii either fish from the dock or bank. I have never fished the lake and I am not looking for your honey holes  :chuckle: just what bait is best and info like that.

Thank You

The southern point of Ike Kinswa State Park, is a great place to fish from the bank.
We use to use a slip sinker with a 24" leader No. 6 hook.
Put a garlic or shrimp pink marshmallow up the shank past the eye, then 1/3 night crawler up the hook to the shank, leaving a bit of tail free to wiggle. Cast out past the dropoff.
