Found the nursery. Even had a bull checking out his fall prospects.

Right on👍 Do you have a bull tag this year?

I moved to Washington 2 years ago. I won't be pulling a bull tag anytime soon. I had bulls within bow shot every day last year. It's exciting but frustrating at the same time.

I completely understand. Last year I hunted with some friends in Montana who had trophy bull elk tags over by Fort Peck. I had a non resident cow tag for the same unit and figured getting a cow would be a slam dunk. NOPE! I could never get cows in close enough for a good shot yet had Bulls coming in within 30 yards multiple times. This year I do have a bull tag for Goose Prarrie so hopefully with some good scouting I can find find a bull to tag out on.

Not a soul. They'd have to have gps coordinates. This is way off the beaten path...and well down a beaten path.

Yeah I've thought the same thing before and sure enough had some guy come by probably going to check his camera

Exactly I have some VERY remote cams and sometimes I will find an occasional person stumbling thru the area.

I've learned to never rule out my fellow outdoorsmen/women. Just when you think you've gone deeper and nastier than any other living human could possibly go, you look over from resting on a log and see a family sitting there eating lunch. If I found this spot, I'm sure others could as well...I just know what it took for me to get in there and hat's off to anyone else making the trek.

I guess everyone is invited.

I used the crushed trophy rock. It's easier to pack in smaller quantities to refresh...and it doesn't grow legs and walk off.
