Not that I want anyone's super secrets. I have a brother in law that coming to visit. He is a fishing fool. What do we need to get for bank fishing st Bumping. Thankx

Caught plenty of trout trolling last summer. Not sure where to bank fish, the boat launch area is pretty shallow as the water recedes.
Seen people bank fish on the northwest side of the lake. Don't know if its public land there.
Good luck!

Take him into the backcountry with a fly rod in hand. Better fishing experiences. :twocents:

I've caught fish while walking along the trail that runs along the north side of the like just look for a likely spot and make some casts. It's become a nice cutthroat fishery, and I've caught some decent 'bows. Naches is right about the back country-if you go anytime in the next month or take LOTS of mosquito repellent.

I'm pretty sure every inch of the shoreline is public. Fish away!
And then come post about your experience so I'll know if fishing there is worth my time :chuckle:. I've been mostly fishing Clear, Dog, and Lost lakes off 12.

Thank you for the input. I will stop at the marina and see what they have to say also.
