Title: 2nd Deer Tag
Post by: swanny on July 10, 2017, 02:09:42 PM: I apologize, this has probably been asked, and the answer is clear (I think).

Regs State: Bag Limit:
One deer per hunter during the
hunting season, except for holders of
second deer special permits and tags.

So my question, can I take my second deer (anterless tag in GMU 133) before a buck? I'm assuming that it does not matter what order you get them in.

Assuming you are talking about the rifle season you should be good but I would double check the dates for your general tag and your second deer permit.

Post by: Wacenturion on July 11, 2017, 07:42:49 AM: Dates do vary on some. Son and I drew a 2nd deer tag in unit 1010. Dates are November 9-19, later than the general. Look at the dates on your 2nd deer tag authorization form that WDF&W sent you that allows you to purchase your 2nd tag.
