Howdy :hello: to all of you boy & girls, gentlemen and lady, cowboys and cowgirls :hello:
WSTA Rendezvous is 11th, 12th, 13th and it is going to be a great one ! I'm not kidding, its going to be a real good one.
We're going to get there a couple days early just to set it up and get ready for all of you.
Wait till you see the pond demo area we set up. And the speaker, that are going to be tell you how to and where to set you traps around a pond.
If you want to learn how to cut and sew leather, Diane Wirth will be doing it all day or until the last one leaves
Kid's, .................................... Eric has something set up for you, it will be fun.
Auction items ...... I've been talking to some people and it sounds like some neat stuff their bringing for the auction.
Raffle items: I've been in touch with some Businesses and Advertisers. I got us some great stuff from:
Cabela's, Sportsmen Warehouse, Tomahawk Live Trap Company, Leupold & Stevens Company and a few more.
I mean some nice stuff such as Cage Traps, Bino, sleeping bags, backpacks, scope, game calls, DVD, Books and more
If you haven't been to one of our Trapper Convention / Rendezvous this is the one you want to go to for sure.
Hope to see you all there. Come over and introduce yourself to me.

With the weather so hot I just want to remind everyone this is an air conditioned facility. Brand new unit just last year. You might have to put on a jacket. :chuckle:
Also remember we are having potluck both Friday and Saturday. We have plenty of refrigeration so whenever you show up Sharon will help you get it in the fridge.

Can we pitch a tent inside for nite time? :)

I don't think so but maybe it will have cooled off by the time the BSing turns to bedtime.
Ice machine is free. Maybe you could fill your sleeping bag. :dunno:

Is there a demo schedule out yet? Sorry if I missed it.

I have a few pictures from the Rondy and would like to share them on here but it won't work. In fact, I haven't been able to post pics for a long time. Does anybody have SIMPLE instructions on how to get them from my phone to the forum?

Here's a few photos I got with my phone. I have to say thanks to Danny for buying my daughter the coon hat. She wears it everywhere now and loves it! Also have to say thanks to Bruce for giving out the raffle tickets to all the kids. Payton seemed like he loved the helicopter and Issabel's face was priceless when she found out she won the RC truck! Pretty happy kids!
I am pretty jealous of whoever bought the beaver coat. That thing was awesome! I want one now!

Great photos, thanks for sharing! The guy getting the helmet and face mask was pretty funny....but I heard he got nailed pretty bad from a Hancock trap. Ouch!

Next year we should have a HuntWa meeting, just to introduce ourselves. I would like to have chatted with you! Glad you are ok now and you looked like you enjoyed receiving your gift! :)

The guy selling the clocks at the Rendezvous (check ou the picture of his clocks), does anybody know his name?
Lets Post the info here he has some great looking clock and sells them at a very reasonable price.
If you picked up his card and have his information, could you PM me that info? Thanks

That would be me! Those clocks are were made by my dad and he has TONS more for sale if anyone wants one. The hand-painted ones (like the bobcat and coyote one in the picture) are a special order item and can be made if anyone wants one. They are all one of a kind hand-painted by Heidi Bennett who has been painting outdoor landscapes and wild game pictures for many years. My dads number is 360-288-2254 and cell is 360-485-7032. Heidi's is 360-987-2518. My cell is 360-580-8653

What we need is name tags but we have tried it in the past and nobody would wear them. What's it take to get people to wear a name tag?
