The dang mice got into my 12x20 over the winter and left 1/2 dozen holes which I need to repair. Luckily there is only one in the roof and its not as bad as I thought. I figured I was going to unfold it and it was going to look like a snowflake.
I am planning on using an extra pole bag from an Alaknak (looks like the same material??) to cut up for the patches. What type of adhesive would be best?
Going to reseal all the tents this year also, what type of sealer is everyone using. I have been the stuff the tents come with, but thinking there has to be better stuff out there.

Iirc those tents come with a repair kit, and a small tube of glue. I bet Cabela's could get some sent out to you easy enough. Good idea on the extra pole bag for repair material!
Tagging along for tent treatment, I need to do mine this year.

I learned my lesson the hard way last year. A rat got into our 16x20 Wall Tent and now I'm waiting to see if the Tent repair guy will be able to fix it. From now on I will store all tents in a new metal garbage can in the garage. If you guys don't store them in a Mouse/Rat proof container you may want to start now. Good luck with your repairs.

I keep my alaknak under my bed, no joke, its not allowed in the garage or shed because of that.
