Post by: Oh Mah on August 14, 2017, 11:22:38 AM
I just put together my first commercial keg (15.5 gallon) of beer together.I have been trying to figure out the psi and temp to carb this keg.Usually i set and forget but this time i have a timeline to get it done. All of the charts i have and have found on the web give pressure and temp. Why is their not a time frame to these charts?Am i missing something?I am at 40 deg. F psi set to 30 how many hours to be at 2.2 carb?Is there a chart somewhere that has the time frame on it?Thanks for any advice.I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE SAID A GROUP OF MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE JUST PUT TOGETHER OUR FIRST KEG. sorry fellas.

It takes me 36-48 hours at 30 psi to get 2 psi at those temps.  This might seem weird, but if I need my beer carbonated pronto, I put 30 psi into it and roll it on the floor for 5 minutes.  Keep it at 30psi until chilled and away you go.
