Washington seems to be making it harder to fish in Canadian waters.  I think WA would have a hard time enforcing this rule, as far as I'm concerned it's non of their business where and when I decide to fish in Canada.
My family as been talking hard about buying a Canadian license next year with how crappy the last 2 salmon seasons have been.

They are doing this because Canada eased the rules and some local small resorts are encouraging people to stay with them and fish Canada through Sept. Since WDFW took away most of our Sept seasons they feel they need to control it some other way.

So they are telling us that in order to fish in Canada you must purchase a Wash. fishing licence. WOW, how long before they make us buy a wash. hunting licence before hunting in Oregon or Idaho- Montana. That just seems wrong.

I also read that you cannot fish the same day in WA after you fish in Canada.
