Last time I used eggs for trout fishing we used to light a match and put in container then close lid.
I can't remember Last time I looked for a book of matches they still out there?
Or what do you use to keep eggs fresh?
-
I vacuum seal them in jars.
-
Thanks WSU
These come in little jars.
-
Like cured pautzke eggs? If so they should have enough preservatives to keep a long time.
-
Yes those are the ones.
Been forever since I fished.taking 5yr old grandson.
Thanks for the info

I always used a match. A little piece of paper rolled up and lit might work.
-
I burnt a piece of wax paper. The melting wax helped preserve the eggs

I'd by a fresh jar. :twocents:
