I've had this camera out for about 3.5 weeks and have been itching to see what's hanging around.  This is set on a well-worn elk intersection in unit 360, about 30 yards from where I parked my truck when I got my spike last year (and I crisscrossed this spot during my stalk).  The most worn path leads straight from a campsite on a marked 4wd trail but I've never seen any bootprints except my own there, but even so I was half-expecting to get a least a few people on the camera.  Not so!  No people.  No cows. No spikes. (although I've been tracking a group of cows and at least 8 spikes within a few miles from this spot).  No deer.  Just a couple bulls, 3 bears, and a blurry bobcat.

And p.s. if you have a branched bull tag for 360 I'll happily share my spot if I can tag along to enjoy the experience. Just PM me.  That 5x5 looks TASTY.

Also note how adorably that first chocolate would fit under the legs of the 5x5.

I have to wonder if mama was nearby -- or if mama was the larger chocolate that walked by two days later?

				Nice!

Man the coats on the elk right now are beautiful!

I was just thinking that same thing. What a beautiful animal they are.
