If anyone hears any updates on the East Crater fire, please post! I will do the same.

I hope that they get this under control, was hiking near there just this weekend and it was super dry in some of the areas we were in.
Hoping that rain arrives before wind, otherwise I fear this will blow up like the eagle creek fire.

Watching this closely as well. Our camp is set 10 miles West of the East Crater. We might be moving camp if the east winds pick back up.

That fire should make the hunting in the surrounding areas a little bit better.

We stopped hunting this area west of the wilderness due to thickness of brush and small trees. We killed elk in there but it really needs a good thinning or hot fire.
