Go to Settings — >Privacy— >Location Services.
Here you can turn it off completely or you can customize it so it’s on for some apps and off for others. I use my phone for work and there are things I need to have it on for so mine are on, and then turned off for certain apps. Maybe someone can show how to do it with the Samsung or other brand name phones.

If you aren't sure, then screen shot them.
It will say the location at the top of the picture, i.e. "Pasco, WA."

As has been mentioned, you can simply screenshot the image to remove the metadata. This however leads to a significant degradation in picture quality.
Alternatively, in a post production environment (like Lightroom for example) you can easily remove metadata...or even modify it.
Not that anyone would do such a thing. ;) :chuckle:

In Windows Explorer right-click on the image, select Properties, click the Details tab, and click "Remove Properties and Personal Information." You can choose to remove all properties, or select ones.

True...except that in your example you are, in fact, using external third party software. ;)If someone has a Windows PC, Windows Explorer is included and doesn't require additional cost. Windows Explorer can access images on an iPhone or Android device.
Point being that you've got to get it off the iPhone into some other program. Some people use Lightroom. Some use MS Photos. Etc.

I used the word "phobia" because people have a fear of sharing their locations. It's a fact. I didn't look it up in the dictionary before I typed. My bad. I guess I could have used the word "fear" or "people are afraid to share..." or a multitude of other words or phrases. Regardless of how you look at it, people are afraid to share their location. Really I was just trying to help. I'll keep this in mind next time. Have a good day.
