Title: Battery Powered Bikes?
Post by: TeacherMan on October 11, 2017, 09:50:19 AM: I have a pretty basic question... Trails or access behind gates that I can take a bike on, can I take one of these new battery powered bikes on? Before I spend the 2k on one Id be bummed to find out its no different than a dirt bike in terms of legalities.

Unless something has changed recently, they are classified as motorized vehicles and follow the same rules as those.

Google USFS battery bikes, or usfs e-bike policy or something to the likes of that and you can find the official policies of the USFS and DNR lands.
