Title: New fire near Bethel Ridge?
Post by: yakimanoob on October 12, 2017, 08:43:36 PM: Anyone know what's up with the fire near Bethel Ridge? Is it a prescribed burn or something?

I've been watching the smoke from my house near Naches.

Also, anyone have a handy source for info on when/where controlled burns happen?

Post by: Naches Sportsman on October 12, 2017, 08:45:59 PM: Prescribed burn up oak creek by wdfw. Hoofsandwings posted about it a long time ago. I bumped the thread in the elk board a few days ago. Signs were posted last year and this year about it in the drainage.

Call WDFW and see if they have a email list you can subscribe to. There's one for the local USFS.
