Title: I am at a lost.. sons first season and can not seem to locate any deer
Post by: jnordwell on October 28, 2017, 07:56:56 PM: We’ve hunted 388,578,560,572. Seen 3 does opening weekend in the 388. Everything else has been zeros... he says that he is having fun just don’t want him to get burned out in it before it gets good. Stuck doing the weekend thing. I’d just like him to see something that he could shoot at rather then zeros.. any thoughts for the late hunt?

I was retelling my son how it can change in a second and all of the hard work will pay off... etc.. Stick with it and it will happen eventually.

I’ve always done that with both my kids.. salmon fishing.. been a few times pack everything down to the river only to hear daddy I wanna go home...so pack everything up and home we go. Don’t want to be that kind of dad

The Late Buck hunt is all I do on the west side and I am pretty consistent.
If I had to put a new hunter on a Blacktail, I would put my money on Late Buck.

It's definitely worth skipping school for.
