Title: Mature late season blacktail
Post by: kball4 on November 20, 2017, 07:24:08 AM
Biggest blacktail to date as far as mass and width, pictures don't do him justice.  He came out of the edge of a clear  cut hot on a doe, 20 yards dropped him with 7mm rem mag 162 hornady SST.   120lbs cleaned at the butcher.

He had to outdo me, we compared mine from last year and his has more mass and narly bases.

Your hand on the antler really shows his mass.

Mudball it was in Mason but very close to the Kitsap border.
Fish vacuum the mass is the most impressive part of this buck I'm 6'4" needless to say I don't have small hands.
Gonna have him Euro mounted.

Not trying to thread jack...just wanted to give the OP some history on the deer...99 percent sure I've been watching him for 3 years.

It's hard to tell with that picture but he is wider than that pic and has a kicker on the inside right side and out side on the left.
