I killed my Blacktail last Saturday, processed it Tuesday night, and yesterday I put the carcass in the woods with a trail camera on it. Question is, with the rain, and all other factors that go into decomposing, how long will Coyotes and other scavengers feed on it? Just trying to decide how long to leave it setup before I go in to take my camera down. Thanks.

If it is mostly bones, chances are they will drag it off.

Should have mentioned, there was some bloodshot rib meat left, but otherwise mostly bones. I also tied it to a tree so they couldn’t drag it off.

They will keep coming back to check them out long after there is nothing but dry bone if they can't drag them off.

Cool, thanks.

You are now on the check that spot out list, several months at least, maybe from a down wind distance at a yote trot
