Title: Looking for eastern WA turkey, archery??
Post by: lokidog on March 05, 2009, 09:23:35 AM: I am looking for a place to hunt turkey that has a decent chance of having birds. It would be nice to be able to bring my little guy (5 1/2), he can walk a bit. I just don't have time to get over to the East side for scouting. I can possibly trade for a chance at a turkey on Decatur or Lopez Islands in the San Juans. Archery over here would be preferred but shotgunning would probably work too. Edfisher@centurytel.net

I may be able to get you on to some private land in the Rice area. If you want me to check I will ask. Also know some public land with turkeys. But there are gobs of birds in the Ketle/Colville area. Went by some guys house last year and stopped in the road and counter over 100 in his front yard.
