Just curious if anyone has tried building one. Kinda like the idea of building a Glock but with all the parts I want.

I haven't, but there have been a bunch of sales lately for the different parts on the g17 full size stuff since the release of the g19 sized lowers. I think the slide is the hardest part to come up with unless you go full custom and drop some $
