Title: foggy morning
Post by: wolftrapper on December 06, 2017, 09:20:50 AM
I don't usually do much good in the fog, but just couldn't resist this morning.

First stand, I was prone in a windrow of alfalfa (pretty comfy!)  about five minutes in, I look over my right shoulder and this guy is standing there at about fifty yards away, looking right at me.  I just squirmed around, and he gave me time enough to get on him.  .22 Hornet, 45 gr. to the chest.(https://u.cubeupload.com/SPUDNIK/IMG20171206075610842.jpg)

I Love hunting in the fog, it can be a rush. :chuckle: :chuckle: They get real close and you are never real sure which direction they are going to come in from. :dunno:

Nice Job Wolftrapper!

Actually, they show up pretty good.  Especially with the frost background.  I'm definitely a fan of hunting in fog from now on!
