finally was able to get a reservation on the Edison south blind but it says no scouting. I was curious if anyone has hunted this blind and if so could they please share their experience. I do plan to go up this weekend and just watch the birds fly from afar. any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have hunted this field with a few different folks. If you have wind or stormy weather you will get birds. If it is blue bird and calm you might get some birds at first light, around 10:00 or shortly after or right before close. You need weather to make this one worth while. If you are going to grind it out at the spot on a nice day, hope for an incoming tide during your stay as it might help get the birds moving.
Don't feel bad if you have birds working you 10-15 minutes before legal and then disappear 3 minutes before legal. This is normal close to the Bayfront.

Lace your boots up tight, that's a long, muddy walk.
I agree, there are a bunch of times where you slog into that general area and 5 minutes before shooting time the birds vacate. Frustrating stuff there.
