Can anyone recommend one that actually works or are these just a waste of time and money?

I had one for my 760, it stuck down to far and made the rifle uncomfortable to carry.

I had 2 back when I had a 760 in .270 that worked great. I recall them being cheap feeling but they fed and loaded good. Like carver said they are worthless if your carrying your rifle slung, but a lot of fun to blast away with. I believe they were eagle enterprises or something like that. I bought them 10 years or so ago and can't recall ever seeing them for sale again but I haven't been looking either.
