It's a SS version of Savages 110 which has been in service a very long time.  The Accutrigger is one of the nicest out of the box triggers and Savages are usually very accurate with very little tweeking.   I'd fiqure 1/2 the market value for a trade, less if it shows any sign of use (check gunbroker.com to see what they are going for).  You can buy a new Savage 110 Blued for around $400, the Brake and SS are just bells and whistle in my opinion.

Savage is a name you can rely on. They make a quality, accurate gun for a great price. I have two that I have used very much and they are still in great shape. I had another gun by a well known maker and it just did not do well under field conditions. Meaning it was getting scratched a lot and dinged which also had a lot to do with a wood stock. Guess I'm just a big fan of savage.
