We had another late run like 2016 but at least it was a little better so we were able to gets silvers, a few reds and halibut that follow the run. 2016 wasn't as good and I'm crossing my fingers for this coming season. The kings are in bad shape in our area, so bad that last year King season was shut down from late Jan until July I believe. Numbers are so bad they are thinking of listing them as critical.
I don't know where my halibut photos are so its just salmon and scenery. My granddaughter in the photo landed two big buggers this day(silvers), 16 and 18 pounders plus more in the 8-10 pound range. The two boys had been out before and decided that a sunny day was for eating, drinking and playing.

Cool pics...

As an aside why did you change your handle to the Real Sisu from just Sisu?

What part of SE Alaska? We were up there in late July of 2017 fishing by Ketchikan. Salmon were very hit and miss but we did manage to hook a couple big buts and a LOT of rockfish.
