Hey All
Anyone got any experience hunting dogs in this area. I'm a retired ball player currently living in Lewiston. Got some experience in this area fishing and what not, but spend most my time hunting the central part of the state. Been looking at the Chief Joeseph Wildlife area, Asotin creek, grouse flats. I know a lot of the land is private, especially around Anatone. Was going to contact WDFW and ask if any farmers had a contact list or anything like that, do they anything like this? Just curious about some info, not asking for any honey holes. Got a 22-250 and a 204 itching to get out, also a vehicle if anyone might be interested. Appreciate any info, thanks again

I have done a lot of control work in that area back in the day. I dont like to travel that far now so I have not been in that area for some time.just go knock on doors and introduce yourself,You will be surprised how many land owners will give permission to call .Make it clear to the land owner you are only interested in calling predators and not hunting deer or elk.It would be better to talk to talk to USDA then WDFW, They handle more predator issues then WDFW.
