Title: Looking for a rifle for 9 year old....Bergara
Post by: ShaneTyTrey on February 03, 2018, 09:19:35 PM: Looking to build a rifle for my son, planning on topping it with a vxiii 30mm cds scope I have. Question is what Rifle, I am looking hard at the Bergara's and want to know who has experience shooting them and what they think.

I’ll second this, no shooting experience, though I have handled them and talked to the rep at SCI last year and they seem like a solid choice.

They are getting good reviews from shooters I've talked to and are often recommended much more than rem700's.....even from the rem guys! They are a rem700 foot print so that opens a lot of options for upgrades in the future.
