Check out OnX maps (https://www.onxmaps.com/). It's like google maps for hunting. I would say 108 is around 85% private. While to the east 111 is probably about 75% public.

Call Larry Lawson at Lawson Truck Repair. He lives in that unit. Tell him you kinda know Campmeat and tell him I told you to call him. He might part with some info.

I kinda know Campmeat  :chuckle:  It hasn't done me any good.

That's like my 78 year old cousins idea of permission. When you drive by and honk if they wave you have it.

Word from the wise Mr. Steak. I would steer clear of EVER dropping ANY names that involve any shape or form of man-meat whatsoever; it will never turn out well for you...Good Luck!

I dropped Campmeat's name once. They ended up double-checking me for priors!

I have lived and hunted GMU 108 my entire life and I will tell you that the ungulate population is on a ALL TIME LOW!  Too many predators that are going unchecked.  With that being said there is National Forest and private timber land in 108 that has great hunting opportunities if you can find the game.

:yeah: That pretty much sums it up! Plenty of land to hunt but herds are hurting.
