Title: Savage / Marlin 22 Mag?
Post by: Squidward on March 13, 2018, 12:48:45 PM: I had a Marlin 22 mag bolt action, it came with a 4 & a 7 round mag. The 7 hung too low for me, the 4 round mag would jam when fully loaded. So I packed a mag with 3 rounds in it until it started to jam too. long story short, I could get a hold of Marlin on Facebook right away, they tell me to call and then they wouldn't answer their phone, so I sold the rifle.
My Questions is do you think the savage is going to be a good rifle for me? Whats your thoughts on a savage bolt rifle in the 22mag? Thank you in advance. Squid

Hopefully the savage will be better for you

Post by: jdb on March 13, 2018, 08:25:01 PM: I've owned 3 marlins and they all functioned fine. All shot well also. That said I bought a ruger 77/22mag 15 years ago and have never looked back. I love that gun!!
