I'm looking at one of these in .22 mag for my wife, but she has very little hand strength due to illness. What's the hammer like to pull back on one of these?

Never handled the 22 but had a chick let me check out her LCR at the gun broker in Clackamas years ago, First LCR to make it in Oregon State! Trigger Pull was like a cap gun! I don’t think your wife will have any trouble Managing it if it’s anything like the 38 good luck!

Not sure about the hammer with the lcrx....but the lcr the trigger is fairly stiff. my 8 y.o. cannot pull the trigger safely on the lcr. With that said, it is crazy accurate and fun to shoot. I love my lcr .22 mag. I also love my lcr .357.

Just bought one for my wife that has a bad case of carpal tunnel syndrome in .38 +p. She loves it and can’t wait to go shooting again. I bought the 3” barrel version. Hope this helps.

9-10 pounds I believe, probably among the lighter for a double action revolver. My .357 has a very respectable trigger that is smooth, so it feels a bit lighter than one with a more rough trigger.

I have a 38special in lcr I think thats it, super tiny super light to carry, trigger is pretty good for a double action ruger.
However my carpal tunnel and arthritis get annoyed. Its an up close oh crap gun, if you made me pull it out I am gonna hit you, probably will be messy.
If you want tidy then my ruger in 22lr is,the way to go.
She should have no trouble with that gun at all. Heck it would be super fun in 22 in my opinion.
