HR5087 proposes to ban AR and other rifles and high capacity magazines. This needs to be stopped. Sign the petition to stop this:

From quick reading of the bill in the past few min,It targets ar15 mostly ,i find it funny that mini14,sks are not included in the bill .

It would ban "assault weapons".
“(36) The term ‘semiautomatic assault weapon’ means any of the following, regardless of country of manufacture or caliber of ammunition accepted:
“(A) A semiautomatic rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any one of the following:
“(i) A pistol grip.
“(ii) A forward grip.
“(iii) A folding, telescoping, or detachable stock.
“(iv) A grenade launcher or rocket launcher.
“(v) A barrel shroud.
“(vi) A threaded barrel.
“(B) A semiautomatic rifle that has a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds, except for an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition.
“(C) Any part, combination of parts, component, device, attachment, or accessory that is designed or functions to accelerate the rate of fire of a semiautomatic rifle but not convert the semiautomatic rifle into a machinegun.
“(D) A semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any one of the following:
“(i) A threaded barrel.
“(ii) A second pistol grip.
“(iii) A barrel shroud.
“(iv) The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip.
“(v) A semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.
“(E) A semiautomatic pistol with a fixed magazine that has the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.
“(F) A semiautomatic shotgun that has any one of the following:
“(i) A folding, telescoping, or detachable stock.
“(ii) A pistol grip.
“(iii) A fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 5 rounds.
“(iv) The ability to accept a detachable magazine.
“(v) A forward grip.
“(vi) A grenade launcher or rocket launcher.

All rational conversations about banning it boil down to "why do you need one". It's about power on one side and control on the other.

Women are emotional and irrational when it comes to protecting "the children" and easily mislead.. This is about demonizing a type of man who own a symbol (AR's), that kills few children, for a political end. I could write a book on this topic but I don't have the time now. Clue in..

I seen cougartail post this morning ,and have to agree gender has nothing to do with who owns this gun or that gun, or the 2nd amendment.

Trust me men have gender based irrational thought proccesses also. "I need a "gun" to survive in bear country." A guy I know in the Alaska bush only carried a 22 pistol while trapping for the last 30 some years. No bear encounters.. He laughs at the clowns from cities and lower 48.
And yes all women are irrational in ways and so are all men.. Evolution of the human brain is pretty much liniar and our world is changing geometrically. Responses to situations new and unknown are often irrational.
