Title: Quiver Question
Post by: cascademountainhunter on March 11, 2009, 09:19:50 PM
I was wondering if it is bad to store arrows in the quiver? Im wondering this because I had an Alpine quiver before, my arrows were in the quiver all the time for about 1 year, now when I shoot arrows fall out of the quiver. And it was used regularly atleast twice a week if not more. So I just got a Trophy Ridge 6 shooter not too long ago and I hope it won't go bad so fast like my last one.

I haven't had a problem keeping my arrows in the quiver.

I figure the performance of the holds on a quiver will vary with the diameter of the arrow, and perhaps the material.  Carbon might hold better than aluminum, maybe other way round, dunno.  My bow case got a pounding by American Airlines a week ago and a few arrows fell out of the hold in the case which was similar to the one in my lost quiver.

Thanks for finding my quiver if you're out there somewhere... found your cigarette.  Let me know if you'd like it back, perhaps we can trade?   :dunno:
