Let’s roll with part 2 of this super awesome series of threads on “what’s in your elk pack”. What do you cats have in your elk pack for a sleep system? For the purpose of these threads, let’s assume we’re talking about pack in hunts.
I carry the following:
Tent – Nemo Hornet 2 Person w/footprint
Bag – VIAM Outdoors 10 degree quilt
Pad – Klymit Insulated Static V
Pillow – Klymit (can’t remember the style/name)
Chair (if I’m feeling energetic) – Wildhorn Terralite
Cot (if I’m feeling really energetic) – Desert Walker Outdoor UL
I may end up packing in my Luxe Megahorn Tipi this year so hunting partner and I can camp/hunt in style (and have a bit more protection against the late September Idaho wilderness area weather). Of course with the Tipi goes the Lite Outdoors Titanium stove.
Well, what's in your elk pack for a sleep system?

Shelters depend on weather and if I'm solo. Tarp, badger hole, 4 man tipi or 8 man tipi. If snakes, scorpions, or big scary spiders are an issue a eureka zeuss II.
Bag is most likely an EE enigma 0° quilt or a kifaru slik bag for hunts that may get real western.
Tyvek ground cloth always
Pad is currently a big Agnes q core SL but I'm sure by season that will change.
When needed an 18" kifaru Smith stove
