Caught my first steelhead Monday afternoon. Decided to take a break to do some trout fishing in a local pond. Launched the canoe for a lazy afternoon. Bite was a little slow and couldn't get one to the boat when I did hookup. That is until I hooked 10 pound steelhead on my Lamiglas LX trout and crappie setup. :yike: What fun. Just in time for the BBQ with the grandkids.

That's awesome, bet it was a battle. My first was similar, goofing around on the snake from the bank hoping for a bass or something and hooked up. Had to play the heck out of it with 8 lb line. I didn't even have a net with me.
