But really that's for you to decide if it is or not, I've been known to take rigs where I shouldn't, where locking rear diffs were a godsend. If you never find yourself needing one, it may not be worth the cost. I doubt it will add a ton to resale value.

Post by: Mudman on May 03, 2018, 05:47:59 PM: YES!!! A 2 wheel with locker can make a big difference. I hate 1 leggers. Even the factory limited slips are decent for awhile. A true locker is great. 4 wheel drive better especially locked up in rear. Depending on price it might be cheaper to go aftermarket if buying new?? :twocents:

A 4WD without either is, at best, 2WD.
Try parking your amazing Toyota on a rut with one front and one rear off the ground and see how far you get.

I got stuck last hunting season, I wouldn't have if I had a rear locker.

It is the cheapest, surest way to enhance the traction in your truck for those times when you need it.
