Probably a stupid question, is my buck board bacon still good to eat after 3 weeks? It’s been in the fridge the entire time. How long will bacon last in the fridge?

-
If it still smells like it is supposed to it’s good, should last quite a while  :twocents:

				Its bacon, nuff said.

Thanks, I ate some, damn good!

Did you remember to butter it? You got to butter the Bacon

Cured and smoked it should hold if kept under 40 for over a month.  Never lasts that long at my house though.

Back in the day we would keep bacon fresh (when we were in the woods with no refrigeration) by wrapping it in cheese cloth soaked in vinegar
Although not a perfect test, your senses are usually the most reliable instruments to tell if your bacon has gone bad. Some common traits of bad bacon are a dull, slimy flesh and a sour smell. The red meat color will begin changing to a grey brown color when it is spoiling.

The only bad bacon is the bacon you don't have.  Otherwise, it is impossible for it to go bad.
