Wdfw honors the Lummi tribe for its work in the Salish sea.

WOW!!! The tribe I and the local game warden had to deal with poaching deer on private property during the Booth Gardener/Weyerhaeuser days!!! :bash: I did get one "turn in a poacher" reward but the WDFW wouldn't go for the other eleven!
THEN when Thanksgiving came along the game warden was told he was NOT allowed to go out during that holiday and they showed up and shot/poached up and down the whole Methow valley!!
Just further proof WDFW doesn't give a rats you know what about wildlife and hunters!!

:yeah: I'm confused on that rant
Since supposedly management is in "common with" tribes, it would seem sensible for the dept to do this sort of thing. At least at first glance :dunno:

Congratulations to the Lummi Nation for receiving the upcoming 2018 WDFW Directors Award!

Congrats to them. And in the Methow? :dunno:

Maybe the Lummi's were in cahoots with the WDFW to kill every elk in the Methow. We're the Lummi's hunting from helicopters by chance?
