Anyone hear if the improvements are done and better yet how it went?? I thought I heard May was the opener but I can't remember. I'm more curious as to what they did at Mossyrock, hopefully they took the concrete ties out and its not so bumpy on the way down.. That's a long haul when the water is down.

Beautiful new launch. Very nice and smooth. 22 trailers there last weekend. New swim beach is turning out awesome. Still a long ways to the water!

Asphalt then cement all the way. New dock may be there today. Very soon if not. Completely tore out old ramp. Realigned and new ramp from bed up.

It would be a great place to film people trying to back a trailer.
One of the longest launches I've ever seen.

:chuckle: true. There was supposed to be a turn around half way down. But somebody nixed it!

I'll be down there in August. I'll set up a lawn chair next to my cooler and enjoy the show.

Thanks HnTnFsh!! One of my favorite lakes in the state on the west side.. I can tell you I've never had a tough time fishing there. A lot of people find it hit and miss. I spent many a day on the water double checking my regs and phone to make sure I didn't miss a closure report, not a boat in site and lighting up the rods. One of the best variety of fish you'll find. Great place for the family too, so glad they are redoing the campground...
yes that launch was entertaining last year. If it is smoothed out it won't be an issue. Before they put the temp dock in it was a nightmare if more than a few boats were going in. Just a shale rock/mud beach, not good for the fiberglass guys like myself. Made me miss the aluminum..

That is why I won't be fishing or boating in general up there. I can back my trailer up fine, but dont have the patients to back that far down. Mostly tho I don't have the patients for those who can't back up ten feet with out pulling forward once or twice let alone that distance.
