Title: Trout fishing the Chehalis?
Post by: Screaminreelz on May 18, 2018, 04:05:45 PM: Anyone ever do it or have much success this time of year? I have my nephew coming in to town this weekend was wanting to take him out somewhere close.

Post by: 7mmfan on May 19, 2018, 07:09:32 AM: What most people catch and think are trout in the summer are steelhead smolt. There are very very few wild trout in the Chehalis system other than the sea run cutthroat that biggoontuna mentioned and you won't really start seeing them until August.
