My first lion on camera. Not sure if the big doe made it out alive.
Lion looks a little bit skinny, adult?

Makes me  wonder how often they have trailed hunters hikers etc.! I doubt that deer made it out alive

It does appear a bit lean.  I wonder if it is a two-year-old, just recently kicked out this Spring by mom, and out looking for a territory and a meal. 

Is eleven minutes a big enough head start for that deer to get safely bedded and watching her back-trail?  Guess we'll never know.

A lot of the cougars are skinny that time of the year like the deer are
