Komodo dragons are large lizards with long tails, strong and agile necks, and sturdy limbs. Their tongues are yellow and forked. Adults are an almost-uniform stone color with distinct, large scales, while juveniles may display a more vibrant color and pattern.
Komodo dragons are limited to a few Indonesian islands of the Lesser Sunda group, including Rintja, Padar and Flores, and of course the island of Komodo, the largest at 22 miles (35 kilometers) long. They have not been seen on the island of Padar since the 1970s. They live in tropical savanna forests but range widely over the islands, from beach to ridge top.
This is the way that aborigines use to catch komodo dragons :
+ Dig a hole (0,3 meters ), surround it by bamboo pieces
+ Use a bamboo piece to cheat komodo dragons to fall into the hole
+ Cover the hole by some bamboo pieces so that the komodo dragons could not get out of the hole
After catching komodo dragons, put them on a stone and grill. Just after 20 minutes, you have delicious komodo dragons.

Fake news! :chuckle:
This is a video of two kids trapping lizards. It has nothing to do with the legendary “Komodo Dragons”, the largest lizards on the planet.
If there were real Komodo dragons about, they would have to be way more careful. Dragons hunt deer and humans, one bite from there bacteria laden mouth and you would be dead in hours. I don’t carry because the scariest thing we have is humans here. If there were Dragons about I’d be strapped in a heartbeat. :yike:
