Put up all fur and most go to the auction and some go to moyles to get tanned

:hello: Always wanting to learn and earn. Who would you sell fur to, here in the state of Washingon? And, are we talking only Coyote's or all fur and skin / trapped and shot. Let's face it hunting and fishing is the best way to enjoy your free time, but it is costly. I've always thought about ways to recoup some of the cost and this seems like a good way to do so. Cash always makes life more gooder. Would selling your caped buck or bull fall int the same category? I either read or heard from another hunter that you could sell a properly caped bull / buck to taxidermist,
I caped my buck last year and sold it on taxidermy.net. $100 in my pocket so why not? As for yotes, cats even coons your options are limited for selling on carcass. If you put them up yourself more options. I bet Carp would show you how if you asked him. Probably take an evening at his shop and you would be on your way.

You have a few options when selling fur. You can ship to the auctions on your own. Both NAFA and FHA have agents who you can meet with trapper dried fur. Other options include Hicks Creek Fur Company in West Richland and Cascade Biologic in Pateros, WA. They both run routes and are licensed fur dealers. There may be more fur buyers around but I'm not sure who.

Been doing my fur for 4 years now with trapping. Problem I have now is trying to balance work, kids, steelhead run, running traps, and hunting all at the same time! If I can ever stick a bull or cow I sure plan to try caping it for the fur that's for sure. Got a few coyote stretchers traced out right now for a weekend projects and hopefully get put to use this year in the dirbyAre you referring to the Warden derby?

I am always happy to help. I will be hosting a fur handling seminar on December 8th, 2018 in West Richland, WA. This is the third year for the class and it is geared towards predator hunters who want to learn how to "put-up" their coyotes, fox, raccoons and bobcats. I have limited space with only about 8 seats left.
