Ignoring the slant of the story...
National parks are always the perfect microcosm for wildlife/human interactions. They seem to attract large number of people that are not savvy with the outdoors/wildlife and have large numbers of animals that are habituated to humans.
I guess I am always surprised there aren't more animal attacks...
